Abbott
is headquartered in Southern California within easy reach of the airports,
servicing Burbank and Los Angeles. The manufacturing
facility is constructed to Abbott's specifications for designing,
developing, manufacturing,testing and screening power products.
The plant is designed to operate efficiently in high volume production
runs as well as low volume prototype quantities.
Engineering
is assisted by computer-aided design software to facilitate product
design for circuit simulation and thermal modeling. The conceptualization
and construction of both standard and custom products incorporate
the solutions to all electrical, thermal, mechanical, and environmental
requirements.
Abbott's advanced manufacturing, testing and screening equipment
guarantees finishing of our
products to the most exacting standards of workmanship and integrity.
Our in-house testing capabilities conform to most requirements
of MIL- STDs 461/462, 810D, MIL-PRF-27F, and DO160C. Our workmanship
standards are based upon IPC-A-610D and our Design Standards upon MIL-HDBK-454A.
Abbott employs a real-time Management Information System as well as an MRPII
manufacturing program throughout the facility for continuous control of
products and services.
